What I enjoy most about writing when inspired to do so, is the exploring of my mind and the ability to deepen the senses from a space of wellness. When I come from deep within without any filters, this allows for me heal and continue my spiritual growth.
For the first time I understanding what love, self care is wherever I lived and know that every place that I have lived was preparing me for NOW. I am surrounded within nature with less doubts. Awakening to the fullness of amazing sunrises, spiders web draped with clear sight between the tree landscapes that circle my home, I know GOD is speaking in a language that I know that is dear to my heart. There’s a hidden stream that sits waiting for me to knowledge that I too must stay in the flow of LIFE. I am reminded thru the red clay of earth that all life has the potential to grow within the roughness of environments and all seeds do offer fruits of love, compassion and healing to those all over the world.
When I think of my top 5 fruits, there are so many to choose from when you are residing in the southern region of the United States of America. My favorite fruit is the watermelon with seeds. I eat my watermelon cut in squares seasoned with a little salt. It’s best eaten if cooled in the refrigerator. Another great fruit is the strawberry, which is showed on this cake. Strawberries can easily be grown in your garden and is great blended as a smoothie. I love a good mango, muscadines, and Jack Fruit.
How many of us have ever encounter a Luna Moth? On Mother’s Day on my front door porch she laid there as I approach my daily sunrise. This was my first experience in observing her unique appearance. For those who are into the science of astrology, she appeared at my door, with the moon in cancer, and a Taurus Sun. The luna moth as an adult lifespan of up to 10 days. Their life span is spent looking for a mate and laying eggs. As an adult they have no mouth and no ability to eat. They seem to be disconnected from our worldly needs and seem to represent a spiritual essence of life. They are nocturnal, so it is perhaps rare to see one when most are up.
Dreams flashes of Inspiration truth, where have you disappeared to?
I’m up early listening, pen in my hand, waiting! It’s a crystal cold morning.
Wrapped in layers, pondering on thoughts Where is the spark? Did I wonder too far away, not knowing?
I would find myself again alone in a crystal cold awakening I am still here, searching for a sound or a touch to reconnect To the vivid dreams of purple, green, and golden swirls of space.
Images of a black structured chair, decorated with shells and crystals I’ll take my seat.
Everyone else is still asleep I am up There’s a bright light, outside my door I find myself outside looking up where black has illuminated clusters of sparkling stars.
Standing in a spell now in their presence. Listening Its crystal cold morning I run back inside, where warmth is more familiar to me I’m anticipating your return to dream again To write
Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?
This was a difficult and fun for me considering the number of years I had to go back in my memory of childhood books. 😃
Growing up in the sixties, all of the Dr Seuss’s were books that capture my inner child delight. I do recall the book Brown Bear, Brown Bear…What Do You See? as a book that we as children would use in play time together.
List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?
There are several books that have change the course of my life, but the three that has impacted me the most are:
1.Webster New 20th Century Dictionary, published in 1956.
2. The Astrology of Personality by Dane Rudhyar, published 1936
3. Weaning From My Mother’s Golden Breast..In Search Of Myself by Renee Robbins Grevious, published 2016
All three provided for me a deeper inner standing of my truth and allowed for viewing the world from an expanded and wholeness viewpoint of creation. These are the tools that have assisted me to write as an creative, healing practice.
